NEW TO CD OR READY TO LEVEL UP?
In order to provide a more customized training experience for our dancers throughout the season, we are excited to introduce Placement Recommendations for our Levels 3, 4, & Crew Signature Progressives. Don’t worry, this is not an audition process. Instead, the Placement Intake Form gives dancers an opportunity to receive valuable insight on their progress and allows our team to provide guidance on getting the most out of your training at CD. Everyone will have a place in our Signature Progressives.
ALL DANCERS who are interested in joining Level 3, 4, or Crew this upcoming Fall season MUST fill out the Placement Intake Form (below).
After the submission form is received, you will receive an email confirmation with either:
An immediate level recommendation if you have danced with us in the previous Spring or Summer 2024 seasons (no placement class necessary).
OR
An invitation to take a Placement Class.
A PLACEMENT CLASS IS REQUIRED IF YOU ARE:
- A new dancer joining CD for the first time and wanting to join Levels 3, 4, & Crew.
- An existing CD dancer looking to level up to Levels 3, 4, or Crew. Ex. Previously Level 2 moving into Level 3 or previous L4 moving up to Crew.
CLASS FORMAT: COMPLIMENTARY 1hr 15min class.
5min warm up
15min Level 3 drills
15min Level 4 & Crew drill variations
40min choreography at Int/Advanced level
During the class, the instructor will work through Level 3, 4, & Crew material and throw a few curveballs your way, challenging you in your overall understanding of a variety of drills, choreography, and personal movement. You can treat this as a regular, lighthearted class so we encourage you to take class at a level that feels good to you!
After the Placement Class:
An email will be sent shortly after class with recommended level(s) to join, along with some tips that could be helpful in creating your personal dance roadmap.
